Light Graffiti

All work and no play is sad indeed, so my trusty sidekick Will and I set out on a night time adventure.  We met up with Leah in a rather shady part of town with the goal of creating an interesting night-time image.  There was no point to it other than playing and being creative.

We literally painted the scene with a flash light and the result was at least interesting.  After Leah left, Will and I stayed to create a few more compositions.  It was great to watch Will (who is twelve BTW) get excited about trying a new angle or sweep of the light.

Believe it or not, this image is also straight out of the camera.  You can see Will in the background swinging a flashlight in a circular pattern while I paint the model.
